Using technology to address the mundane and solve the points of pain in your business is the reason Stephen and I started StaffSync more than a decade ago, focused on the education sector. As the business grew and expanded beyond schools, we launched Simplifi, our workforce management solution designed to make managing staff simple.

Creating software that works and is intuitive is what motivates me each day. With expertise in strategic planning, business development, and operational improvement, I’ve worked across a wide range of industries, including tech startups and consultancy. I bring over three decades of business experience, both as a Management Consultant (Regional Head, Asia Pacific at Jaako Poyry Consulting) and an owner of one of NZ’s first successful SaaS businesses (TenderLink).

To achieve our goal of creating Australasia’s premium workforce management software, my job is focused on building a strong team. To this end, I am in the fortunate position of employing some incredible talented people. The key quality that I look for in our staff is a willingness to help others because, based on over 30 years’ experience, I believe collaboration is the key ingredient for all successful companies. I see this trait flowing through Simplifi everywhere – from the close relationship our BDMs client services team have with our clients, to the nights and weekends our Tech team devote to solving any issues that arise, through to the fantastic support we offer through our 0800 and 1800 help lines.

As the co-founder of Simplifi, I’ve channelled my passion for technology into bringing together this phenomenal team to create a platform to streamline workforce management. Our vision has enabled businesses – from schools to large retailers and hospitals – to manage both casual and permanent staff more effectively through an intuitive app, saving time and money through our innovative technology solutions that simplify the complex challenges that we face.

With more than 20-years’ experience and a passion for turning ideas into smart software solutions, I thrive on creating tools that remove unnecessary pain and complexity from people’s work lives. As Director of Information Technology at Simplifi, I’ve been instrumental in developing our platform so that it can solve the real-world workforce management problems that people face in their daily roles.

Simplifi has given me the opportunity to collaborate with an amazing team of skilled professionals, all committed to addressing pain points in workforce management. From brainstorming concepts to seeing how our software makes a tangible impact for our clients, it’s incredibly rewarding to witness how our solutions simplify tasks and transform the way people work.

I’m really proud of what we’ve been able to achieve over the past decade. Our team’s ability to tackle complex problems has allowed us to deliver cutting-edge technology that drives real change. As a software developer at Simplifi, I’m all about developing highly functional software that solves real problems. I’ve loved tech since I was a little kid programming rubbish games on an old BBC Microcomputer, and now I’m putting that passion to use helping to create some truly impressive (and non-rubbish) software. At Simplifi, I’m lucky to be involved in all areas of development, from creating new features to debugging and solving issues raised by clients.

I’m that rare breed of developer who is a techy-nerd-geek but also very much a people-person, so I get an extra-special kick out of watching the features we develop go on to have a measurable, positive impact on peoples’ lives and work.

My role involves closely collaborating with clients to assess their unique needs and tailor our software implementation accordingly. I thrive on the challenge of translating complex technical concepts into actionable steps, enabling users to adapt quickly and efficiently.

Having worked in various operational roles, across a variety of industries I bring a wealth of experience to Simplifi. I am committed to ensuring that our clients experience a smooth transition and achieve their goals with our platform.

As a Business Development Manager at Simplifi, it is my role to help our clients and prospects understand how our platform can transform their workforce management processes. I’m people-oriented and solution-focused, which means I love working with our clients and prospects and approach every challenge with a smile.

With a background in sales and marketing, I leverage my experience to engage potential clients, demonstrate the benefits of our platform, and ensure they feel supported throughout their journey with us.

I believe in balancing professional success with the human side of business, and I love really getting to know our clients. It’s incredibly rewarding to work with a team that shares my passion for delivering results.

With extensive experience in ERP systems, business process analysis, and systems implementation, Zhamcel (or Zhammy, as she’s known to the team) brings a client-focused approach to her role as User Support Specialist at Simplifi. Having worked as a Systems Implementation Consultant, she’s excels at creating training resources, leading virtual sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure clients get the most out of their workforce management solutions.

After working remotely for several years, Zhammy was eager to join an in-office team and bring her expertise, problem-solving mindset, and friendly energy to Simplifi’s Christchurch pffoce. Passionate about helping businesses streamline their operations, she’s committed to ensuring every client has a seamless and supportive experience with Simplifi.

As the Chief Operations Officer at Simplifi, I am passionate about leveraging technology to drive innovation and efficiency. My journey with Simplifi began as a client, where I discovered a company that not only met our needs but also shared our vision for transformative workforce management. This inspired me to join the team and contribute to its evolution.

With a background in engineering and extensive experience as a Talent & Systems Manager, I have had the opportunity to implement and manage various systems across multiple industries. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the complexities our clients face in workforce management. I am proud to be part of a team that embraces change and continually pushes the boundaries of what is possible, creating lasting, impactful solutions through technology.

As a Full Stack Developer at Simplifi, I am part of a team that creates seamless, user-centric web applications that enhance workforce management for our clients. My journey into coding began with a curiosity about how technology shapes our digital landscape, and it has blossomed into a commitment to building innovative solutions that address real-world challenges.

With strong technical proficiency, I enjoy tackling complex problems through efficient coding practices. My role at Simplifi involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop robust features that streamline processes our clients.
